Throw All The Bums Out is one person’s attempt to instigate a movement to retake our country from the power brokers, entrenched politicians, money men and hordes of beaucrats who daily decide we are not smart enough to take care of ourselves. (America: Land of the Free; Home of the Nerf-wrapped?)

From the hysterical ranting of the left over privatization of Social Security to the “love it or leave it” knee jerk reactionaries on the right, it is time for men and women of good faith to come together across the political divide and demand a stop to the childish bickering that passes for political leadership today.

I don’t have any answers (quite a few opinions though) and want to start an honest dialog with my fellow citizens about how we can take back our country from the “finest politicians money can buy”.

Please .. no rants; no black helicopter conspiracies, no “Bush is Satan Incarnate”, no “Saint Hillary will save us all”. My guess is, an honest dialog requires we leave the slogans behind and present our views logically, based on fact. Not anywhere as must fun as “The CIA planned 9/11 and the World Trade Center collapse” or “No planes crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11″ but much more useful.

It won’t be easy; it will cost us money, time, personal effort and will have its share of disappointments and heartbreak but then nothing worth doing is ever easy.

I remember an America whose people were more interested in the welfare of their neighbors than their iPhones. People who actually knew the names of the couple across the street. People who cared more about their nation than themselves.
