Obviously, these words have no meaning to the community organizers running our country.

On Monday 16 March 2009, Commander David K. Rehbein of The American Legion met with President Obama to discuss a proposal by the administration to shift the financial responsibility for caring for our wounded to the private sector. The Obama administration recently revealed a plan to require private insurance carriers to reimburse the Department of Veterans Affairs in such cases.  In effect, the VA would be required to bill the private insurance of wounded veterans for service related injuries.

As a Nation we promised our war fighters that we  would ‘..care for him who shall have borne the battle’.  The Obama bean-counters figure they can raise $540 million by billing veterans for treatment of service connected disabilities.

The true nature of “Change we can believe in” becomes apparent when in this era of multi-billion dollar bailouts to Wall Street, hedge funds, mega banks and the like, this Administration can deny a paultry $540 million to our wounded veterans.

Please contact your representatives and demand honorable treatment for our wounded veterans.

Promises made must be promises kept.

The following is extracted from a Freedom of Information Act request filed by Judicial Watch concerning the use of US Air Force assets to transport the Speaker of the House and her camp followers.  The quotations included below indicate why Ms. Pelosi fought to block release of the information.

“It is my understanding there are NO G5s available for the House during the Memorial Day recess. This is totally unacceptable … The Speaker will want to know where the planes are” … ”This is not good news, and we will have some very disappointed folks, as well as a very upset Speaker.”  – Kay King Aide to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi

If Her Imperial Highness Nancy Pelosi wonders why the groundswell of opposition to Presidential, Congressional and Senatorial policies is spreading across America, she need look no further than her outer office. Such temper-tantrums as “This is totally unacceptable” and “The Speaker will want to know where the planes are”  would be considered normal for an over-indulged 16 year old; not a senior staff member for the Speaker of the House. Such petulance is most unbecoming.

It is this obvious disdain for the “common” people that has fueled the take back America movement typified by the New American Tea Party , the We Surround Them  movement and numerous sites with similar themes.  Ms. Pelosi, ignore these warning signs and you will find yourself unemployed in 2010.

Note to Ms. Pelosi

Ms. Pelosi, please be advised the populace will no longer tolerate the whining of a spoiled twit.

The planes are probably in a hanger thereby saving the American taxpayers about $60,000 / hr. Please fly commercial carriers in the future.  Even with two or three Secret Service agents in tow, the cost would be lower.

The “this is like, ya know, totally unacceptable” ValleyGirl speak is not the customary form of verbal communication for a serior aide to the Speaker.  Like, she will be so pissed!
